Alethea Oakley

Alethea Oakley is sophomore at the University of Chicago, studying Economics and Environmental Science. She is especially interested in the intersection of finance and sustainability in the energy and impact investing space. Currently she conducts research on biogeochemical cycling in arctic soils in an on campus lab and works with Finpublica creating ESG education materials for financial professionals. On campus, she is involved with numerous environmental organizations and serves as a project lead in the Phoenix Sustainability Initiative and as the Events and Outreach chair for the Energy and Climate club.
