Chhavi Dhingra is a transportation engineer with international experience of working on transportation projects across cities in  Asia, Africa, the Arab States, and the United States. Her work focuses on addressing key challenges such as energy security, climate change, governance, inclusion, and equity, delivering tailored solutions for diverse transportation stakeholders at local, regional, and national levels.

Chhavi has led several transformative projects, including facilitating the transition to electric mobility for a transit company in India, integrating climate-friendly mobility, skill development, and gender inclusion into the transport sector. She also works on promoting active mobility within tribal communities in the U.S. and facilitates public engagement for addressing emissions and equity concerns within the NEPA process in multiple transportation projects.

Currently, she co-leads WSB’s Public Engagement program, aligning consulting services with client priorities in energy, municipal, and transportation projects. She drives business development, fosters strategic partnerships, and engages with diverse stakeholders to advance sustainable and community-focused transportation solutions.

Chhavi has worked with organizations such as TERI, WRI, GIZ, UNDP, and the World Bank, producing internationally recognized research and publications. A passionate advocate for decarbonization, equity, and accessibility in transportation, she actively contributes to thought leadership pieces, and industry dialogues on sustainable transport.
