Eddy Poon

Eddy Poon is a second year at Northwestern University majoring in Material Science and Engineering that transferred from UC San Diego. Following the lab experience he gained in his battery lab and in a computational lab, he found his interest in computational material science. He is passionate about automating materials discovery for battery materials, and has organized a small research group to work on different aspects of the multiscale problem. Additionally, he looks forward to draw on his experience prior in organizing electronic waste awareness initiatives in his highschool to bring the Chicago Energy Conerence to fruition.
