Guy Trerotola

Real Estate Program Lead at Google

As a real estate professional with more than thirty years of experience, Guy is a leader in all aspects of real estate solutions including strategy, development, planning, project management, site analysis, project execution, design and construction management, and sustainability. His portfolio includes more than 40 million square feet of new construction projects globally. 

 Currently, Guy leads real estate programs and architectural solutions for the built environment as a part of the Google Real Estate team.  In his role, he is generating new, innovative solutions focused on creating scalable, design and construction solutions for the future of Google’s real estate portfolio, buildings, and workplace.  These efforts include developing prefabricated, modular and sustainability solutions such as decarbonized net-zero building material solutions and the mass timber building playbook which serves as the design guideline for all future new building solutions.

Earlier in his Google career, he was the Western and Asia-Pacific regional lead for the office at data center program, leading the design and construction of new office buildings on Google data center campuses in the western U.S., Taiwan, Japan, and Singapore.

 In addition to his professional work, he is an adjunct professor teaching a graduate design studio at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Architecture, an Advisory Board Member for the Notre Dame Deloitte Center for Ethical Leadership as well as a recurring guest lecturer at the University of Notre Dame Fitzgerald Institute for Real Estate, the University of Notre Dame School of Architecture, University of Notre Dame Mendoza College of Business and Northwestern University’s McCormick School of Engineering.
