Lynna Deng

Executive Director

Lynna Deng is a fourth-year student at Northwestern University majoring in mechanical engineering and environmental science. She is interested in fluid mechanics approaches to environmental issues. She previously researched wind energy in the Howland lab at MIT and river flooding in the Luhar lab at the University of Southern California. On campus, she probes plastic recycling as a researcher in the Aristilde lab, works on a 500+ gallon aquaponic system as co-president of Engineers for a Sustainable World; and promotes professional development for undergraduates interested in the energy industry as the director of marketing for the Northwestern Energy and Sustainability Club.
