Robert Kats

Robert Kats is a senior at the University of Chicago majoring in Economics and History, with a concentration in economic history and interests at the intersection of energy, infrastructure, and finance. He focuses on how innovative financial structures and public‑private partnerships can scale long‑term investment in modern energy systems and resilient infrastructure. His professional experience includes investment analysis at Blue Like an Orange Sustainable Capital, work with the Coalition for Green Capital—the first national green bank—and earlier roles in ESG‑oriented investing and urban infrastructure initiatives. On campus, he serves as Treasurer of the Energy & Climate Club.
